In the late 19^th century, the MBA degree program emerged in the USA. In 1881, the first school of business in the United States was established, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania through a contribution from Joseph Wharton. In 1900, the first advanced degree business school was established in the USA, whose name is the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
