During the National Day holiday, I went on a road trip with my wife to western Sichuan.
We started from Chengdu and passed through Ya'an and Luding. On the first day, we visted the "Red Army Flying Capture Of Luding Bridge Memorial Museum", where we learned about the related history and stories.
We couldn't help but admire the bravery and dedication of the predecessors. Then, we arrived in Kangding and enjoyed a delicious barbecue with firends.
On the second day, we went to Honghaizi, a highland lake surrounded by mountains. It is sparkling waters under the sunlight were incredibly beautiful. In the afternoon, we arrived at Tagong Grassland. In Gunong village, we admired the distant snow-capped mountains by the meadows and streams. It felt like a scene from painting, soothing and refreshing.
That evening, we originally planned to stay in Xinduqiao, but due to her altitude sickness, we had to drive back to Chengdu overnight. Although the trip was short and we encountered some unexpected changes, the scenery along the way was truly unforgettable.
